Midsummer Vogue!

You kept me at arm’s length

Miffed with me over things

That were not in my control

As vivid as I got picturing a

Future vague and blur without

Your smirks, your playfulness

I didn’t feel myself wretched or

Mournful about you not there

Escorting me in my ill-advised plans

Or trying to command me

I rather feel smooth to get

Rid of the suffocating breaths

I had when you tried besting me.

Heedless I am happy being my

Own person who likes nobody

To tell her what to do in return

She won’t tell others what to do

Maybe, I will need to grow up

But right now I am fed up with

The tutoring like a five year old

So give me a break and let me

Be the Vogue I always dreamt to be.

REASON!

REASON
Such a strong word
Hidden with the depth of
Hundred of guesses
Some likely to be bring joy
While some await to
Bring in chaos to
Already perplexed life
Trying to shock with
Turn of events beyond
Horizon of mind distracted
Previously with nervousness of
Experiences still fresh with
Wounds nagging to suffocate
Breath with ferocity that
Hardens the earlier
Worry lines making them
More obvious to deal with
REASONS
whatsoever without backing out
In this play of circumstances
Showing effects of vintage
Spring again or a monochrome
Cloud of cringing
Pain going away
Only with fading bruises
Done to make peace with
REASONS
Which were once happily
Greeted for smile on faces &
Lighten-hearts enveloped in sweetness
To embrace whole heartily the
Blessings of the moment with
Ample more basis to stay in
Glory of the
REASONS. ….

A Sphere of Friendship….!

That phase of life made her scared
From the envious and cunning Earth
Making her want to stay away from everyone
Because she had heard somewhere before
They are your worst enemies
Will eat every bit of you with vindication
Observing why are all in vain to have them
Making her suspicious and mysterious
Of this sacred bond of friendship which
Had nothing to offer other than animosity
But sooner or later she found herself
Entangled in this web, breathing life
Giving her a chance to experience this meaning of attachment
Compelling her to omit all the odds and letting
Her open eyes and just see there are great minds
Thinking like her, searching for her
Without even asking something in return because
She realized that balance is restored
Nobody can end up having all bad days or all good days
Sometime it’s dawn and sometimes it’s dusk
And what matters at the end of the day is this bond
Comforting you in dread of times coping up
With everything with this tad bit of sphere called friendship
